Potential Investment Opportunities (or Donation or Grant, to Non-profit Organization RPG Research) Opportunities

Role-Playing Game Professional Services is a rapidly growing new industry sector.

In 2004 the Role-Playing Game Professional Services Industry was probably only a tiny $500k-$1M USD industry, with RPG.LLC's founder, the "Grandfather of Therapeutic Gaming", arguably the most influential creator of the RPG Professional Services industry, as one of the few "Professional Game Masters", since 1983 paid to provide role-playing game services (as opposed to publishing). Additionally the role-playing game education and therapy industry was all but non-existent as an industry, except for our founder.

In 2009, the tabletop board game publishing industry was only around $300M USD and the tabletop RPG (TRPG) publishing industry only around a $20M USD industry. The RPG Professional Services industry was still only in the (at best) ~$1M-$2M USD range.

In 2016 board game publishing had climbed to over a a $1.6B USD market (~20% growth) , with TRPG publishing breaking $50M (~40% growth), and the RPG Professional Services industry (including recreation, entertainment, educational, and therapeutic) was between $2M-$5M USD.

By the end of 2022, the tabletop board game industry had boomed to over $3B USD (>50% growth), TRPG publishing breaking over $100M (>50% growth in), and RPG Services industry between $10M-$20M USD (%50-%200% growth depending on the sub-sector: recreation, entertainment, education, healthcare)!

The RPG Professional Services industry is still a very fledgling and rapidly evolving, currently booming, new industry, as elaborated in the paper, "Observations on the Current State of RPG Professionalism: An Immature but Growing Profession".

The growth is continuing.

Trending so far shows that during economic boom periods, people crave exceptional experiences, and RPGs excel at providing this.

During economic downturns, people turn torward more affordable and reusable options, and all indicators are that even in the face of multiple recessions, often price concious consumers turn toward more affordable means of quality experiences, which RPGs affordably provide.

Current indicators point toward high probabilities his is only going to keep growing substantially in the coming years.

We have been supporting role-playing game research, community, and professional services since 197. We are the world leader in the development of this fledgling industry, with huge global growth potential.

We support all role-playing game formats.
